Getting caught wearing a cocktail dress in the rain never looked so fabulous!

What you need for spring is a big ass bag. A bag so large, it needs it’s own seat at cocktails. The truth is that bags are meant to be practical and especially if you live in the city and don’t drive, you need all your belongings in one place. I’ve tried the multiple tote bags for the office look and here’s the thing: it’s chaotic and cumbersome. Toteme has a good leather tote to compartmentalize. Banana Republic has a shamelessly deep slouchy number with a waiting list that comes in suede (ideal for a laptop, water, lunch, and a sweater). And Prada has a killer belt bag.
Plaid Redux
Plaid is shedding its past, and embracing a more grounded, fresh perspective. Matthieu Blazy at Bottega Veneta breathed new life into checks, blending the rawness of grunge with sophistication.
